CACNB1 and atrial fibrillation: Of note, while prominent upregulation of MIR-328 was also noted in AF-related remodeling (Lu et al., 2010) and was shown to inhibit the expression of CACNA1C and CACNB1, which encode cardiac L-type Ca2+ channel α1c- and β1 subunits, differential regulation of this MIR or the relevant subunits of the L-type Ca2+ channel were not observed in our RAP data set of the rat (Figure 5).
