In the present study, the Bcl-2/Bax ratio in the prostate tissues from the rats in the BPH group was higher than that in the prostate tissues from the rats in the Con group; the samples from the rats in the BPH + PA, BPH + Saw, and BPH + Fi groups showed a statistically significant decrease in the Bcl-2/Bax ratio. Here, BCL2 is linked to benign prostatic hyperplasia.
