In the univariate analysis, old age (>60 years old), HCV infection, HBV and HCV coinfection, diabetes mellitus, cirrhosis, microvascular infection, high AFP (>5 μg/L), high NLR (>1.8), low PNI (≤45), and low SII (160 × 109/L) were associated with poor OS. This evidence concerns the gene AFP and Cirrhosis.
