Very recently, through a fast track designation, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the exportin 1 (XPO1) inhibitor selinexor in multiple myeloma patients with a refractory disease to at least one proteasome inhibitor, one immunomodulatory agent, and daratumumab (triple-class refractory) [6]. This evidence concerns the gene XPO1 and AL amyloidosis.
