With this gating strategy we uncovered a microglia fraction of 80–90% among CD45+ cells at all time points and an immune cell infiltrate (CD45high among CD45+ cells) of 16.37 ± 6.63% saline- versus 19.42 ± 5.77% CX3CL1-treated mice at 24 h after ischemia and of 10.87 ± 1.87% saline- versus 20.07 ± 2.71% CX3CL1-treated mice at 72 h after ischemia, confirming the chemotactic role of CX3CL1. This evidence concerns the gene PTPRC and ischemia.
