Interestingly, miR‐182‐5p functioned as a tumor repressor in renal cancer by inhibiting cell proliferation, colony formation through either diminished MALAT‐1 expression (Kulkarni et al., 2018) or activating AKT/FOXO3a signaling pathway (Xu et al., 2014).
