AKT1 and hepatocellular carcinoma: Overexpressed-eIF3I interacts with the activated form of oncogenic Akt1 via inhibition of PP2A phosphorylation in human hepatocellular carcinoma [24], whereas the protein REDD1 enhances PP2A-mediated dephosphorylation of Akt resulting in repression of mTORC1 signaling in 293T cells [25].
