Finally, cell motility experiments in MDA-MB-231 (Fig. 6f) and MDA-MB-468 cells (Fig. S6c) showed that, although in the presence of DYRK2 the protein levels of Notch1-IC affected cancer cell migration significantly, Notch1-IC overexpression considerably increased cell migration of DYRK2-KO cells, suggesting that DYRK2 restrains Notch1-mediated cancer cell migration. This evidence concerns the gene DYRK2 and cancer.
