ALB and neoplasm: The results of the latter revealed that not having received radical treatment after initial TACE (p<0.001, HR: 2.629; 95% CI: 1.697-4.072), the presence of extrahepatic metastasis before initial TACE (p<0.001, HR: 2.259; 95% CI: 1.432-3.563), AST >45 U/L (p=0.024, HR: 1.612; 95% CI: 1.065-2.439), ALB <35 g/L (p=0.012, HR: 1.803; 95% CI: 1.135-2.862), and tumor response that were evaluated as PD and SD after initial TACE (p<0.001, HR: 2.608; 95% CI: 1.670-4.071) were independent predictors of poorer prognosis of extrahepatic PFS.
