Subsequently and with the aim of assessing the ability of quercetin to prevent kidney injury caused by exposure to CM, the increases in serum creatinine (Figure 2a), proteinuria (Figure 2b), urinary N-acetyl-β-D-glucosaminidase (NAG; Figure 3a), urinary neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin (NGAL; Figure 3b), urinary kidney injury molecule 1 (KIM-1; Figure 3c), and albuminuria (Figure 3d) were calculated, as well as the decrease in the glomerular filtration rate (GFR; Figure 2c) using the Chronic Kidney Disease Epidemiology Collaboration (CKD-EPI) formula.
