UCA1 and breast cancer: In melanoma, UCA1-miR-507-forkhead box protein M1 axis is involved in cell proliferation, invasion and G0/G1 cell cycle arrest [27]; in breast cancer, UCA1 functions as a competing endogenous RNA to suppress epithelial ovarian cancer metastasis [28]; UCA1 was also found to exert its oncogenic function in non-small cell lung cancer by targeting miR-193a-3p [29].
