In this study, we graded staining as ‘negative,’ ’low,’ and ’high’ (as elaborated in methodology) and observed presence of both LEP and LEPR in colorectal cancer (CRC) tissue samples in high intensity with high prevalence, 100% and 97.7% respectively (p <  0.01) (Table 4). This evidence concerns the gene LEPR and colorectal carcinoma.
