Kim et al. 38 reported that the expression of microRNA-10b was frequently silenced in GCs by its promoter methylation, and also microRNA-10b might act as a tumor suppressor by suppressing oncogenic microtubule associated protein RP/EB family member 1 (MAPRE1) at the transcriptional level, which was further confirmed by Li et al 39. This evidence concerns the gene MAPRE1 and neoplasm.
