ALB and urogenital neoplasm: Despite the lack of elevation in serum creatinine and urinary albumin, with only some colistin-treated mice showing elevations in urinary CysC upon initial analysis, histological examination of kidney tissue from these mice showed clear signs of kidney damage in all individuals, including tubule dilation, loss of the brush boarder membranes in the proximal tubules, and the formation of protein casts throughout the kidney tissue (Fig. 2A, B, and G).
