Frequencies of CD40+ cells in peritoneal macrophages were downregulated in 0.5 μmol (25.96 ± 8.44% vs 36.07 ± 2.67%, p = 0.05) and 1 μmol (17.38 ± 11.80% vs 36.07 ± 2.67%, p = 0.01) CD83 siRNA-treated BD mice compared to those in the scramble siRNA-treated control group (Figure 3(e)). This evidence concerns the gene CD40 and Behcet disease.
