Sathekge et al. studied 19 patients suffering from breast carcinoma in whom 81 tumor lesions were identified; out of these, 6 primary or recurrent lesions, 2 lymph nodes, and 5 metastases proved negative on 68Ga-PSMA-HBED-CC PET imaging, yielding an overall detection rate of 84% for 68-PSMA-HBED-CC PET/CT imaging [35].
