Comparison of scrub typhus and non-scrub typhus of GSE 16463 revealed that scrub typhus was associated with airway inflammation (KEGG asthma), cytochrome P450 pathways (KEGG arachidonic acid metabolism), and a first-line defense mediated by immunoglobulin A (IgA) antibodies (KEGG intestinal immune network for IGA production) (Figure 4B) (Supplementary Table S3). This evidence concerns the gene CD79A and scrub typhus.
