Recently, TRAF6 was confirmed to be an important oncogene and a constitutive NF‐kB activator in RAS‐driven lung cancers.4 Previously, we showed NaBu could induce A549 cell death and TXNIP expression.15, 16 Actually, TXNIP is a tumor suppressive gene and induces cancer cell death.11 Here, we found TRAF6 could regulate NaBu‐mediated TXNIP gene expression (Figures 2 and 3). This evidence concerns the gene TRAF6 and cancer.
