As an important factor of macrophage recruitment, MCP‐1 was up‐regulated in various cancers and promoted cancer development and metastasis.25, 26, 27 Thus, targeting MCP‐1, and followed with the recruitment of TAM is a potential strategy against diverse cancers, including colon cancer.26, 28, 29 Our results confirmed the up‐regulation of MCP‐1 in SARI−/− mice compared with that in SARIWT mice at different time points during CAC development, accompanied with recruitment of CCR2 positive TAM in colon tissues. This evidence concerns the gene CCR2 and malignant colon neoplasm.
