As an important factor of macrophage recruitment, MCP‐1 was up‐regulated in various cancers and promoted cancer development and metastasis.25, 26, 27 Thus, targeting MCP‐1, and followed with the recruitment of TAM is a potential strategy against diverse cancers, including colon cancer.26, 28, 29 Our results confirmed the up‐regulation of MCP‐1 in SARI−/− mice compared with that in SARIWT mice at different time points during CAC development, accompanied with recruitment of CCR2 positive TAM in colon tissues. The gene discussed is CCL2; the disease is colonic neoplasm.
