To determine whether macrophages present in human colon tumour tissues are correlated with SARI expression, we used immunohistochemical (IHC) staining with anti‐SARI and anti‐CD68 antibodies to detect SARI protein expression and macrophages in 20 human colon tumour tissues and found there was an increase in macrophage infiltration in malignant tissues (Figure S2) and an inverse correlation between SARI expression and macrophage infiltration (Figure 3C). The gene discussed is CD68; the disease is colonic neoplasm.
