It has been indicated that the overexpression of Ezrin might promote ovarian cancer cell invasion and might predict poor prognosis29 However, the study revealed that patients who had negative or low Ezrin expression had a significantly shorter survival than those whose tumors had moderate or high Ezrin expression,30 which is consistent with our finding that Ezrin expressions were significantly declined in breast cancer tissues. The gene discussed is EZR; the disease is ovarian carcinoma.
