Significantly lower CXCL10 concentrations were documented in patients without hepatitis in the EPI- (2.04 ± 0.36 log10pg/mL; p < 0.001), ENI- (1.98 ± 0.32 log10pg/mL; p < 0.001) or ENI-HR-phase (2.08 ± p0.19 log10pg/mL; p < 0.001) (Fig. 4A). Here, CXCL10 is linked to hepatitis A virus infection.
