In this perspective, some therapies for intestinal diseases mainly involve the administration of anti-TNF-alpha monoclonal antibodies[20] in conjunction with other broadly acting adjuvants such as corticosteroids, prebiotics, and probiotics.[21] The literature presents several review studies that address the use of antibodies in anti-TNF-alpha therapy, especially in cases of inflammatory bowel disease.[22–26].
