Through combination of the methylation data from 16 published studies including 1676 SIL or CC patients, we evaluated the relationship between MGMT promoter methylation and clinicopathological features including histological types, advanced International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO) stage, histological grade, HPV infection, therapeutic response, age at diagnoses and lymph node metastasis. Here, MGMT is linked to squamous cell intraepithelial neoplasia.
