As different B-cell responses have been described that demonstrate enhanced levels of V-domain N-glycans and/or glycosylation sites, such as those observed in Sjögren's syndrome (46), those found in follicular lymphoma (47–49), those generating anti-hinge region antibodies, and those in immunoglobulin subclass G4-related disease and primary sclerosing cholangitis (50), it is likely that the mechanisms operational in the development of ACPA-expressing B cells are not restricted to this B-cell response only. Here, PRTN3 is linked to follicular lymphoma.
