There were no significant differences found between the MCI and control groups in terms of age, gender, educational level, prevalence of hypertension, duration of T2DM, history of alcohol abuse or dependence, smoking history, BMI, waist-to-hip ratio, fasting blood-glucose, 2-h plasma glucose, FCP, HbA1C, total cholesterol, triglyceride, low-density lipoprotein, high-density lipoprotein, apolipoprotein A1, and apolipoprotein B (p > 0.05).
