As shown in Fig 3, the results showed that LC patients with PE had high levels of DD (WMD = 4.31, 95% CI: 2.53, 6.10; P < 0.01) and CEA (WMD = 10.30, 95% CI: 9.95, 10.64; P < 0.01) and a low level of PaO2 (WMD = -25.97, 95% CI: -31.31, -20.62; P < 0.01).
