In this study, the immunohistochemistry analysis revealed that the staining of CSF-1 was primarily expressed in the nucleus, although previous studies indicated the staining position of CSF-1 was also in the cytoplasm of various cancer cells such as renal cell carcinoma, soft tissue sarcomas, and gastric cancer [29, 40, 41]. The gene discussed is CSF1; the disease is renal cell carcinoma.
