Several of identified genes have been associated with the progression of bladder cancer, such as S100 calcium-binding protein P (S100P), belonging to a family of calcium-binding proteins, [44], tachykinin receptor 3 (TACR3) [45], and UDP glucuronosyltransferase family 1 member A1 (UGT1A1) [46]. Here, S100P is linked to urinary bladder cancer.
