Recent studies combined ChIPSeq with whole transcriptome profiling in ABC DLBCL (activated B cell-like diffuse large B cell lymphoma) cell lines and revealed that STAT3 activates genes in the Phosphoinositide 3-Kinase (PI3K)/AKT/Mammalian Target of Rapamycin (mTOR) pathway, the Nuclear Factor Kappa-Light-Chain Enhancer of Activated B-Cells (NF-κB) pathway and the cell cycle regulation pathway, while repressing type I interferon signaling genes [27]. The gene discussed is MTOR; the disease is diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.
