HGF and acute myocardial infarction: Hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) is an important stimulator in the process of angiogenesis, which can encourage the growth, proliferation and differentiation of endothelial cells (EC).56, 57, 58 Study has found that miR‐210 is overexpressed in acute myocardial infarction, and it can play a role in promoting angiogenesis of the myocardial infarction by targeting and regulating the up‐regulation of HGF, so as to improve new ventricular remodelling.59
