Again, an increased value of true positive and negative rates for predicting a higher PCa Gleason score (60 and 100% respectively; AUC 0,854, p = 0,004) was obtained when miR-342-3p + PSA was included in the model, much better than the ones obtained using single biomarkers: PSA (60 and 84.6%; AUC 0,838, p = 0,006) or miR-342-3p (60 and 76,9%) (Fig. 6A). The gene discussed is KLK3; the disease is posterior cortical atrophy.
