Figure 1b shows that Hu5F9-G4 alone significantly enhanced tumor cell phagocytosis. Only a high concentration of TMZ (500 μM) significantly enhanced the phagocytosis of GBM when administrated alone (P ≤ 0.05). However, treating the cells with both TMZ and Hu5F9-G4 significantly improved GBM phagocytosis more than Hu5F9-G4 alone (Figure 1b and Table 1, also see Supplemental Figure). These data showed the positive effect of TMZ on anti-CD47-mediated phagocytosis of GBM in vitro. The gene discussed is CD47; the disease is neoplasm.
