The levels of metastasis-related proteins, such as MMP9, Twist, and Vimentin, were decreased, whereas those of E-cadherin protein were increased in UA-treated xenograft tumor tissues when compared with those in the control tumor tissues, which indicates that UA has significantly suppressed SNU484 xenograft tumor growth in vivo mediated by the activation of Hippo pathway. This evidence concerns the gene MMP9 and neoplasm.
