In the context of subarachnoid hemorrhage in mice, inhibition of HSP90 by 17-AAG (17-allylamino-17-demethoxygeldanamycin) was shown to inhibit NLRP3 inflammasome activation, whereas the transfection of recombinant HSP90 (rHSP90) increases NLRP3 activation and abolishes the effect of 17-AAG. This evidence concerns the gene NLRP3 and subarachnoid hemorrhage.
