These results clearly suggested that reduction of NF-κB activation by corilagin possibly led to attenuation of prostaglandin E2 (PGE2), cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), nitric oxide (NO), einducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS), and TNF-α in PC-12 cells in pheochromocytoma, a hormone secreting tumor of the adrenal medulla (Figure 2). This evidence concerns the gene PTGS2 and hereditary pheochromocytoma-paraganglioma.
