This molecule is specifically inhibiting ErbB2 (a member of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR)/ErbB family) that plays an important role in the pathogenesis of AD and is strongly associated with neuritic plaques in AD [156], suggesting that this molecule could be used in future studies to reverse the biological process related with neurotoxicity induced by metal. This evidence concerns the gene ERBB2 and Alzheimer disease.
