Additionally, eight articles [17,18,20,21,22,23,24,26] stated that the LADA patients did not receive insulin treatment for six months after diagnosis, while in the research of Desai M. et al. [19], the periods without insulin treatment after diagnosis for the LADA patients from the UK Prospective Diabetes Study (UKPDS), the Warren 2 Repository (W2), and the Exeter Young-Onset Type 2 Diabetes Study (YT2D) were three, twelve, and three months, respectively.
