The major hub proteins—HSP90AA1, MYC, SP1, BRCA1, RB1, CFTR, STAT3, E2F1, ERBB2, EZH2, and MET—were basically the same in the two networks, suggesting that our differentially expressed miRNAs regulate target genes which are involved in basic processes of tumor formation. This evidence concerns the gene STAT3 and neoplasm.
