FGFR3 and cancer: Dysfunctional expression of FGFR3 or FGFR3 mutations were highly linked to many types of cancer, such as multiple myeloma (MM) (Qing et al. 2009), bladder cancer (Lott et al. 2009; Qing et al. 2009), breast cancer (Wang and Ding 2017) and colorectal cancer (Fromme et al. 2018), etc. Activated FGFR3 signaling pathway has been indicated to promote tumor growth, metastasis, and resistance to drug (Natalia et al. 2018; Saichaemchan et al. 2016).
