Recent work further described an interaction between HSP response and oncogene activation in T cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL), given that NOTCH1 [Notch homolog 1, translocation-associated (Drosophila)] signaling induced HSF1 and ablation of this transcription factor eradicated tumor growth in NOTCH1-induced T-ALL models [19]. This evidence concerns the gene NOTCH1 and T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
