On further analysis of clinical results of patient samples that were assessed in the department we found that 1) CD45+ PCs contained a significantly higher percentage of CD24 expression than CD45− PCs the former being a more “normal” immunophenotype and 2) that the patient’s samples that were in remission had a significantly higher percentage of CD24+ PCs, than active MM samples (Figure 6). This evidence concerns the gene PTPRC and Miyoshi myopathy.
