The levels of phosphorylated ERK and AKT were also decreased in Huh7 cells after TCF12 knockdown but were restored by CXCR4 overexpression, while JNK phosphorylation was unaffected (Figure 7C), suggesting that the MAPK/JNK pathway is not a common pathway activated by TCF12 in HCC cell lines.
