Our results demonstrate that deletion of STAT3 prevents ovarian cancer cell proliferation, migration and spheroid formation in vitro, and blocks tumor growth in vivo. Using RNA-Seq profiling, liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry proteomic profiling, and bromouridine-based nascent RNA sequencing (Bru-Seq) 21, 22 we have characterized the transcriptional and translational response to STAT3 KO in EOCs. This evidence concerns the gene STAT3 and ovarian carcinoma.
