CD14 and Hepatic hemangioma: In another cohort CRLM patients, we compared the number of CD14+HLA-DR−/low MDSCs between the paracancer liver tissue of 66 CRLM patients and 10 hepatic hemangioma patients by flow cytometry, we found the number of CD14+HLA-DR−/low MDSCs was significantly higher (4.6 ± 2.6%, n = 66) in paracancer liver tissue of CRLM patients than that in hepatic hemangioma patients (2.1 ± 1.3%, n = 10) (P = 0.004) (Fig. 8a, b).
