To test whether the methylation rates increase as the CD38 levels increase, the samples were classified into four risk groups based on CD38 level, with 5 non-leukemia subjects in group 1, 23 patients in group 2 with CD38 ≤ 20, 9 patients in group 3 with 20 < CD38 ≤ 50, and 8 patients in group 4 with CD38 > 50. This evidence concerns the gene CD38 and leukemia.
