Liu et al. [22] reported that expression of cyclin B1 and level of Cdc2 phosphorylation were increased in malignant glioma cells treated with a synthetic quinazolinone analog (MJ-66), suggesting that MJ-66 induced G2/M arrest and mitotic catastrophe in malignant glioma cells.
