When we used E-cadherin/β-actin ratio to correlate the IC50s, we observed that mesenchymal-high (i.e., low E-cadherin/β-actin ratio) cancer cells exhibited significantly enhanced sensitivity (i.e., low IC50) to GPx4 inhibitor ML162 (Fig. 1a, b, Supplementary Table 1).
