Age, residing in long-stay or rehab facilities, higher concentrations of TNF-α, IL-6, and IL-8, and a higher number of diagnoses, drugs (in general), and antidepressants/antipsychotics were all associated with increases in MMSE errors while a presence of hypertension and a higher Shannon diversity value, BMI, and Barthel score were found to be positively associated with a decrease in MMSE errors.
