TNF and Hypertension: Multivariable-adjusted Poisson regression tests were performed to examine the association between cognitive ability and the VKAM clusters after adjusting for the following confounding factors: age; Barthel score; presence of hypertension and diabetes; number of cardiovascular and diabetes medications; polypharmacy; multimorbidity; concentrations of serum PK, TNF-α, IL-6, and IL-8; Shannon diversity; BMI; antipsychotic medications; sex; and strata (Table 4).
