PAK1 and ovarian carcinoma: HCAM, also referred to as CD44 antigen, is a cell‐surface glycoprotein that has been shown to be involved in cell adhesion, cellular interactions, and migration and was suggested as a potential diagnostic and prognostic marker of malignancy in breast and ovarian cancers.33, 34, 35 Our data show that the expression of HCAM was inhibited following PAK‐1 inhibition.
