Identification of BUB1, BUB1B, STK38, and PRKCE genes, which were previously known to be involved in proper chromosome transmission (Chan et al. 1999; Hergovich et al. 2007; Chiba et al. 2009; Vleugel et al. 2015; Jia et al. 2016; Martini et al. 2018), in these experiments strongly supports the utility of the HAC/dGFP-HTI assay for screening new CIN genes. This evidence concerns the gene BUB1 and cervical squamous intraepithelial neoplasia.
